I like to stay at thi Holiday Inn whenever I am staying in Glasgow as I find the location, the service, the room and the food to be excellent. I have not been let down! When staying last week I was againstruck by how polite, helpful and professional the staff on reception were. One is always made to feel that nothing is too much trouble. The food is consistantly good - breakfast is an excellent choice of whatever takes your fancy. Dinner in evening quite outstanding - excellent menu; beautifully cooked; knowledgeable and helpful waiter. As usual, my stay was an enjoyable experience.
The only drawback is Parking. Having to park in a multi story the other side of a very busy road and carry bags back and forth is not a good experience, and gnerally gets me into abad mood before I enter the Hotel. Obviously, there is nothing the Hotel can do about this - it is just one nagative against the many positives.
The rooms were comfortable and spotless clean The staff were very helpful and couldnt do enough for you The hotel while in the city centre was quite
The "Executive Suites / Delux Room" rooms are very, very small and very expensive for what you actually get....especially with an outlook into offices and as dirty car park
Central+ very comfortable
Access to everything - rail and bus travel; airport transport; shopping; theatre and restaurants - also very good in-house restaurant.
This hotel is excellent for the Royal Concert Hall. Everything was excellent, no complaints except for our early morning call which we did not receive.(but was told it was put into system, perhaps the ok'd fashioned personal wake up call is a better idea.)
Would have liked a larger lounge area to relax in .
The food is good value for money, with excellent service. The lounge area whilst small is well used and comfortable but conversation cannot be overheard.
The room was on the front facing the road at the junction with traffic lights. Noise all night which kept me awake, The room should be triple glazed. Therefore on basis of this experience No I would not recommend.
It was placed in a good location with ease of access, the rooms were very comfortable & clean with good facilities in the room. The staff were friendly & warm.
Arrived later than expected and were warmley greeted by the reception team who explained all about the hotel and facilities.Room was everything we expect of a Holiday Inn and the breakfast was very good, will return and recommend.
close proximity to Universities for the purpose of my trip
beds are not comphortable
the position is perfect, next to the main street of Glasgow and the breakfast is wonderful.Even the services are very good
My room was so small (with two beds)
Very helpful and friendly staff La Bonne Auberge restaurant is excellent Very convenient for theatres and shopping in city centre
Not that easy to find travelling by car No dedicated parking, albeit public car parks across the street
Friendly helpful staff, excellent room luxurious facilities, great value for money, perfect location for Glasgow City Centre and beyond, impressed with the cleanliness of hotel and efficiency of staff. We use this hotel on all trips to glasgow as it is perfect for us
We had tickets for a show at Glasgow s Royal Concert Hall which is across the road from Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland so its location was great. Also being right in the busy city centre was very handy for shopping.
